WOW!!

Yesterday was a longgggg day! I began my day at 5:00 which I didn't think would be bad the night before, but it was basically like I was getting run over by a bus. I got to practice with the masters program, it was one of the easiest practice of my life. I returned home to go to class and study for the two test I had that day... My first test, in writing for managment went amazing! I think I only got 2 pts off of 50! My next test, was not as great... i forgot to study an entire chapter so I got most of the questions wrong regarding the chapter. But good news is that I had a bounch of extra credit so it should be a C+ :) so I am happy about that. I ended my day at 10:00 got home and packed up for an adventure that will reveal its self soon. Thursday, though I have the most classes is the best day of the week. Not only is it the day befor no classes at all, but I get to see the most attractive boy of my life. :) But I am sure there will be more stories of him to come. Today during the time I should have been studying I was thinking about how this year has been. I would say over all it has been successful. I did not get hit by a car this year, so that in its self is a success. I have been doing well in swim and school. I really think that I am blessed that I have such a wonderful life. I live in a beautiful city, with the best people surrounding me. Ok that is enough with the sentimental moments. Be back with you soon hopefully today!

Yes this is real life...

Is this real life has been the question I have asked my life several times throughout the day today. The first situation was when I was sitting in my favorite class... finance.(yes that is real life, that is actually my favorite class) I was trying so hard to listen to my teacher who knows nothing about finance (his words not mine) yet he has a PHD. I don't really get how that works but I mean maybe he BSed his way through it?? Anyways I was sitting in class the next thing I knew I jolted. I had fallen asleep and drooled all over and ended up having to rewrite my notes because they had gotten soggy, not to mention I was right in front so my teacher started laughing and said a comment that /i chose not to listen to when I arose...oops! The next instance was not as humorous. Let me take you to this time in my life... Place: FAU pool! Time: 3:01 2/3/2010 Set: 30x50's two fast one easy... This set was so terrible for me I thought that I had broken both legs and tried to swim. The last and most crappy situation for me was just after practice when I went to the doctor. Lets go back in time about one month ago when I acquired the injury in question. I was in my locker room trying to get to the showers ASAP because at this time in Florida we had a polar freeze. The temp was the coldest Florida had seen in something like 30 years. I grabbed my shamp and condish and was running to the showers (it was more of a brisk walk) then I stepped on the drain wrong and instantly my foot was in pain. I walked it off, went home and the next day I had some bruising and it hurt... I went on with my days. Until the trainers found out, then I had to get an XRay and an MRI to find out that I have a fracture in my foot...cool. But I had known that before today... Today was the day that I was supposed to be off crutches! I went to the doctor to only find out that I am actually on crutches for 3 more weeks...cool Is this real life? unfortunately... Yes. I don't understand why if you can't see the fracture in an xray, only a little in an MRI why would you put your athlete through the hell of having to bruise your armpits and hands... IDK But I have studying to do for my plethora of test tomorrow to I will talk to you on a later date.

The secret is out!

Tonight is the night in which I will reveal my secret... my blog address! I am a little nervous because I have already been told of some spelling errors, but I am real bad at spelling so I don't really care that much. Today was a rough day... I was holding my eyelids (seriously holding)open so that I didn't look like I was trying to sleep. My teacher thought I was nuts ... but what are you gunna do? Because of my deathly sleepy state today I was unproductive with everything! Practice was insanely boring and now at 6:30 after I am done with this short blog I am going to bed... yes a college student is actually going to bed at 6:30! I hope you all enjoy my blog, I am not going to lie...I have spent way to much time trying to figure out the tricks of the blogging trade so be nice!

Dear Blog,

Because I have only recently started my blog, I have come across many questions...Why are you starting a blog? What is a blog? and many more from my fellow inhabitants of lane 6 at the FAU pool. So ladies I am now going to attack those questions on this post :) I am starting this blog so that my family can have a little look into my life on day to day activities, I am also starting this to be able to look back at it in.... well when ever I want and rem anise on ummm... well life! What is a blog? Well the one I am doing is basically like an online diary... but I am sharing it with people. There will be no obsessing over boys, like many of our first grade diaries went. (I am not promising no mention of guys :p) but there you go my little bit of reasoning to this craziness in my life!
When you are thinking about things to blog about in a day you realize that the day gets to be pretty adventurous! My day went from the average Monday, to one of the best Mondays I have ever had. It began as usual waking up at 5:40 to go take my tri-weekly morning dip, then I had to get hopefully the last of the xrays of my fractured foot taken... and the results were great!! :) The day seemed to be going good, then I went to dunkin doughnuts to reward myself for being attentive in my finance class, and actually understanding! After waiting in line for 15 min... this old lady with the worst makeup I have ever seen in my like... I am talking eyeliner halfway down her cheek and bright fuchsia lipstick that was on her teeth, and hair that was sticking up to the ceiling (obviously in need of her daily coffee) decided that it was OK to cut in line directly in front of me... NOT OK!! I got into an argument(maybe because I was so hungry from practice/a stimulating finance class or maybe because she was the most rude lady I have ever met) this argument escalated into me mentally putting my fingers in my ears and thinking lalalala. After a traumatizing experience at the coffee shop I decided to come home and do a little light packing and a LOT of heavy cleaning. The efforts were actually a success, but I still have a wanted sign out on my purple shirt that I love, but I found everything else that had seemed to find its way to the bottom of the heaps that were on my floor! That adventure of the jungle room came to a close as the practice chapter of my life opened yet again for the day. It seemed as though it was going to be one of those average boring Monday practices, but it turned out to be really fun! All I could talk about at practice today was this little blog, I have yet to reveal the address to everyone but my mom (mostly because I am afraid that people will think its dorky when I love it) but my amigas are all really excited to read it :p tomorrow is the big day so I am going to have to have a really eventful account of tomorrow so it can fulfill every ones expectations. Well my homework is calling...
